I am a mum, a wife and a grandma and I did lead a busy life until recently, but now have a bit of time on my hands. I used to pay someone to do my ironing because, having done a full days work, the last thing I wanted to do was to come home and spend hours standing at the ironing board. However, that's exactly what I am offering to do now - your ironing - to free you up to spend more time doing the things you REALLY want to do.
I do the ironing in my own home - you bring it to me and then collect when it's ready. I can also provide a collection and delivery service within a 5 mile radius of my location. Extra charges would apply.
My basic charges are £1.40 per item (shirts, blouses, skirts, trousers, etc). Small items such as babies clothes/pillow cases/t towels from just 60p and for other charges, please call.
I will either hang or fold shirts (folding will incur an extra 10p per item charge) - whichever you prefer. Please supply your own hangers - shirts sent without hangers will be folded incurring the extra charge or hangers can be supplied for a cost of 25p each.
I also offer a basket of 20 items (not including bedding) for £25.
For bedding sets (duvet cover, sheet and up to 4 pillow cases) Single £6, double £7 and king or super king £8.50.
Please, when bringing your ironing, make sure it is folded , rather than just bundled into a bag and not over dry. This will avoid excessive creasing, making for a better finished product.
I am also introducing a laundry service for shirts, blouses, sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases. Please contact for more details and charges. I do not do dry cleaning.
